Miso Primeur 2024

Due to high demands for our red miso, we decided to release young miso “Miso Primeur” of 2024.

In fact, at which maturity of miso to consume is a personal preference. There is no right or wrong. Some prefer the sweeter taste of rice koji during the early months of maturation while others prefer umami rich flavor you find in miso that are over one year old, sometimes 2 to 3 year old.

Try our young miso, and if you decide you prefer a richer taste, just leave it in your cupboard for 3 to 6 months more.

Our red miso is fermented naturally in sugi barrels from Japan using only high quality organic ingredients to ensure best possible taste and health benefits. Non-GMO certified soy.
