Tokoname CROCKS

Tokoname is one of the Six Ancient Kilns in Japan. This high quality pottery is made of purely local Tokoname red clay with a high clay content and chemical-free glazing. Acid and salt resistant and low in thermal conductivity, they are ideal for miso fermentation as well as for stocking tsukemono, umeboshi, and nukazuke.
